To make a sequel to one of the best racing games ever made isn't easy. So 1-Up.com checked if EA wanted to make a set of developer diaries about NFSU2. The first one is about the new GPS-System.

As you may have noticed the Download section has changed. There now are seperate categories for each individual car to show. We did this to make it a little clearer to find your favourite car.
There only are still some little problems with the alphabetical order of the categories. We hope we can solve this problem soon as possible.

Do you want to compete with other players online in ladders? Then vote for a NFSU 2 ladder on clanbase. There is a petition going for a new NFSU 2 ladder.

There are already ladders for the original Need for Speed Underground like:
- Drag 1on1 and 2on2
- Circuit 1on1 and 2on2
- Drift 1on1
These are already a succes.

So if you want to play NFSU 2 online too and be the best player of the world, vote for the NFSU2 Ladder.

On Tuesday, December 14 the Video Game Awards will be presented. It will be broadcasted at Spike TV live hosted from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, by rapper Snoop Dogg.

Now the nominees and categories have been announced.
Need for Speed Underground 2 is nomated in the following categories:

- Best Performance by a Human Female (Brooke Burke)
- Cyber Vixen of the Year (Rachel Teller by Brooke Burke)
- GTO Pontiac Best Driving Game
- Best Song in a Video Game (I Do by Chingy, Lean Back by Terror Squad)
